“The return of the king, Vino Nobile”. This is the title of a large feature on Vino Nobile and its area in one of the sector’s reference US journals, Wine Enthusiast, by American journalist Kerin O’Keefe. “One of the best wines in Tuscany has finally turned a corner and is living up to its lofty reputation”, the journalist continued, “It hit the top of the charts in 1685, when Renaissance poet Francesco Redi praised Montepulciano’s flagship red as the “King of all wines”. “Vino Nobile di Montepulciano’s journey has been a long rollercoaster ride”, O’Keefe continues, “and if you haven’t tried this wine recently you are missing out on the return of an Italian classic”.
